Every year we hold a KIDS Gathering for all of the surviving family members from the Bali bombings.
For this year, KIDS Gathering Party was held on Saturday, 19th June 2011, located at New Kuta Green Park, Pecatu. The survivors of Bali bombing 2002, their family and all YKIP’s volunteer gathered together to preserve the relationship and integrity of the families as a big KIDS families by having some games, celebrating the birthday of the KIDS’s children, giving the appreciation to the children who do well in their academic or non- academic work, and distributing the school supplies for the KIDS’s children. In addition, there were about 130 of participants attended the event and having a fun together.
At this opportunity, we would like to express our special acknowledgement for the following donors that have given their great support for this event:
- Casaluna team through Casaluna Relief Fund project that has donated amount of Rp. 32.990.000,- for this event.
- Surfer Girl that has donated amount of Rp. 5.000.000,- and some kinds of birthday prizes for all children and some kinds of prizes for best students.
- Conrad Hotel for the voucher they gave to best of the best students that will allow the best student and his/her family to stay one night at Conrad Hotel and enjoy the available facilities.
- CIMB Niaga for three savings they gave for three best students, Rp. 100.000 each.
- New Kuta Green Park for the special discount and services they provided for the event.
We would also like to express our great thank you to the boards of YKIP that keep giving great support for KIDS program, and special acknowledgement to Mark Keating for his help in fundraising, and Ibu Rucina for her speech at gathering.
Great acknowledgement also for all YKIP team and following volunteers of this event: Cakra, Eti, Rai, Dayu Nila, Dayu Wid, Andrey, Yogi, and Purniati. They gave their time during the preparation and on the day of the event. Without these supports, we will not be able to hold the great gathering this year.
